I <3 LA

I love coming down south for road trips with my sports. Not only because it's 75 degrees and spring-like in early January, but because I have a lot of friends down here.

Friday night, I made up for my lackluster New Years Eve by going out with my former roommate from UCSB, Lisa, and other college friends in Santa Monica and Hollywood. I can't tell you how great it is to reconnect with old friends after 2.5 years! After meeting up with some other Gauchos Christmas weekend, my "alumni reunion" tally is up to 10 in two weeks! Awesome :)

Today we had the entire day off since we play Fullerton tomorrow so I got to bum around Orange County. My friend Brian from work lives in Huntington Beach and came to pick me up for the afternoon.

After going out for lunch, we took his parents' boat into Huntington Harbour, went shopping in downtown Huntington Beach and boated up to a Mexican cantina where we ate tacos, had beers (goodbye resolution #3... There's still time to start it right?) and watched some NFL games this afternoon.

...and I'm now three-for-three on January blog posts, booyah! Also today marks one year with the bf!
