First baseball game of the year, and boy did I miss it!
After the fourth inning, the A's were already up by the final score 11-2. But that's not what's exciting. I guess the A's signed FRANK THOMAS back to be the DH this morning so he made his 2008 debut in today's game!
The best part? He got to keep his old number and ghetto walk-up music.
And he actually ran two bases in one play! Slowest player, ALIVE! So it was a good day :)
...If only Nick Swisher had stayed on board to give the other half of the former A's clubhouse dynamic that's still sort of missing.
