Joyeux...

Anniversaire a moi!

You know, 23 sounds scary. But this is fitting because I'm kind of getting ready to start my real life now.

France is nearly behind me. I have a return flight, plenty of sky miles so I can travel more in the near future, aaaand my vacation begins tomorrow! Oh I almost forgot: I've moved out and have some of my security deposit... Beast.

Before my return in 12 days, I get to run around Europe! So perhaps I'll update pictures and stories in two weeks from the other (better) side of the Atlantic!

Hasta luego and auf weidershein. Hope that wasn't too butchered.

Aren't the vacations great. Of course ours (CIV) started last Friday so I got just a little headstart. Enjoy running around Europe.

Wait...I didn't realize you were leaving!! Enjoy your travel and keep little old 'French for a While' in mind when you go to your first baseball game. We are going to miss it. This will be my first year since 1977 that I have not attended a major league game. Ouch.

Just read your profile. Shea Stadium is def not in the Bronx. Do not confuse my beloved Mets with the much hated Yankees. Shea is located in Queens with a new stadium called CitiField opening next year. France must have sucked the common sense out of you... jk. I've been to the ball parks in San Diego, Miami, Philadelphia, Toronto, Boston, Kansas City, Cincinnati and both New York Stadiums. Next years World Baseball Classic Finals will be held in Los Angeles which sounds like a good reason to take off of work.
