Baseball is here. About dang time!! I've been waiting for this for about five months now!
With the A's giving up all hope in 2008 and unloading every player they had, a little part inside of me died.
But how was I supposed to know what 2009 would bring?!
Matt Holliday. Jason Giambi. Orlando Cabrera. And now possibly Nomar Garciaparra.
This is the best thing that's ever happened. And for the first time in six years, I live back in Northern California and am only a short drive away from the ballpark! This is going to be fantastic.
Oh yeah, and I'm traveling with Pacific's baseball team. I spent the past five days in San Diego watching at least seven different baseball games, including four of ours.
Yep, spring is definitely my favorite season. If only I could go to Spring Training with my parents in Phoenix next week.......

I'm a little hurt that you didn't post one of my fabulous pictures, but I'm with ya! As much as I love the rain (because we need it) I'm ready for it to clear so we can get to the ballpark :-) It really is my favorite time of the year.
A) Orlando Cabrera is good...he used to be an Angel after all :-P
B) Im jealous you got to spend 5 days in SD while I am sitting in 20 degree weather in DC
C) We need to catch up soon :-)
