So we have our "Pacific Plays Pink" women's basketball game this weekend, helping fund breast cancer research. The event is part of a national campaign in which teams dedicate their nights to the event and is actually a pretty neat deal. Many major league baseball teams do the same thing around Mother's Day, except there's something humbling about seeing macho baseball guys using pink bats with ribbons tied on and pinned to their jerseys. Some teams even go all out and wear pink jerseys or sweat bands.
Either way, I'm all about it. I just need to find a pink outfit to wear for when I'm working on press row.

I was wondering where you had gone to! If they can't handle the "save the tatas" t shirt why not just throw on a good old fashioned "f*èk cancer" shirt? Keep the message simple, so to speak.
